Track: A metal bar that fits over a door opening. Your door will hang on this.
Rollers: Small wheels mounted on tracks that allow the door to move smoothly. A standard size door requires at least two.
Door Rail: A small wall-like metal piece mounted on the floor to keep the door from swinging.
Stopper: A barrier installed on the floor at each end of a track to keep the door from sliding off the track.
Jump Block: A round (sometimes square) piece of plastic or metal that fits on top of a door to keep it from "jumping" off the track.
Standoffs (sometimes called spacers): Tubular pieces that fit behind the door track to keep the door from scraping the wall.
Door Handle: Pull the handle to open the door. Some homeowners may prefer a "virtual knob" that doesn't turn. You can also use handles designed for larger appliances like refrigerators instead of traditional door pulls.
Locks: Barn doors generally do not require locks. However, if you choose to add one, you have two different options:
Soft Door Closer: A set of pistons that prevents the door from being slammed shut.
